DHL Express has recently reported it is to open 23 new international parcel drop-off points across Japan in the bid to expand its network by 15%. The parcel delivery company is to team up with ACCEA, a printing retail chain, to assist the new DHL Service Points in ACCEA locations in across Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka and Okayama.

It has been said that the new drop-off locations will increase the number of DHL Service Points to 173, making it the largest express industry service network in Japan currently. DHL Express wants to increase its presence and improve customers convenience by opening service points in ACCEA stores in major, business cities across Japan.

The improvements are mainly to target small and mediums businesses (SMEs) in offering a simplified international shipping solution for those looking to transport items ranging from a 500g envelope to a 25kg box.
