DHL Freight has recently expanded its Eurapid services across Europe, introducing nine new terminals the network during November. The service, which is day-definite and for less-than-truckload (LTTL) shipments up to 2.5 tons, is now available at 50 terminals across 17 countries, covering an impressive 80% of all business addresses throughout Europe.

Amadou Diallo, CEO of DHL Freight, has commented: “Since the launch of this premium service…we have doubled the number of terminals in the network and significantly improved our lead time. With the day-definite lead times and fast connections, Eurapid is the preferred solution for our customers from the technology, automotive and life sciences and healthcare scectors.” Diallo also added: “We will continue to expand the Eurapid network and, by the end of 2015, will be able to offer our customers this highly-reliable service with close to full European coverage.”

DHL has expanded its service by introducing one station each in France, Great Britain, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Spain and Slovakia. The delivery company is hoping to enrol the remaining terminals by the end of next year.
