TNT has recently launched a new air link between its hubs in Liege, Belgium and Tel Aviv, Israel. The parcel delivery carrier as said the flights will run regularly at five times a week starting this month with a Boeing 737-400.

The newly introduced service is expected to provide a response to growing demand and will result in fixed departure times, guaranteed uplift, later pick-up times and a “smooth connection” to TNT’s international road and air networks via Liege.

Martin Sodergard, TNT Managing Director of Network Operations, has said: “With this flight operated by TNT, our customers will benefit from improved delivery reliability, as well as later cut-off times for pick-ups thanks to improved departure times. It also gives us additional capacity to further grow our business in and out of Israel.”

TNT has said the new flights to Tel Aviv will combine its “extensive” European road network with a “strong” international air network.
