FedEx brings aid to refugees from the Middle East

FedEx has donated $1 million (USD) in aid of refugees migrating from the Middle East, in the form of cash, supplies and transport.

They are collaborating with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Heart to Heart International, and Direct Relief to provide hygiene kits, medical supplies, and local Red Cross support, as well as donating toys and other items from FedEx employees.

More than 300,000 people have fled countries in the Middle East seeking safety in Europe, according to the United Nations. FedEx say they are making the most of their global transportation network to deliver assistance.
