Deutsche Post receives lift from DHL growth
DHL has continued to go from strength to strength as it has witnessed growth in its domestic parcel business, which is primarily driven by internet sales as well as overseas expansion.
These positive results were down to a lot of hard work by the parent company which has positioned DHL as a global provider of express parcel and shipping services.
While the business has removed itself from the US domestic delivery sector, it has focused much of its efforts on ensuring its services connected Europe with the US and Asia for the shipping of a variety of parcel sizes.
In a recent press release, Frank Appel, Deutsche Post’s chief executive, said:
“You’ll find us where growth is also strongest.
“That means in emerging markets in Asia, in the Middle East, and in Latin America, as well as in the fast-growing parcel market in Germany.”
So, you can expect further expansion from this Bonn-based company in the future as it looks to consolidate its position as one of the leading international courier service providers.
