UPS expands delivery services in Canada
This April is already set to see Halifax and Moncton being added to their coverage, with UPS pickup and delivery services being rolled out to customers in other areas in the second part of the year.
The news comes as the business has set aside millions of dollars to invest in Atlantic Canada. About 250 new jobs with the company will be created through these plans.
UPS Canada President Mike Tierney said:
“This is a very exciting year for us. Adding six more cities to our expansion signifies the potential for growth we see in the Atlantic provinces.
“We continuously evaluate ways to leverage our superior service, technology and reliable brand within Canada and around the globe. Atlantic Canada is the next logical step for our customers and for our business.”
