International express company sponsors marathon for fifth time

The event will be taking place on January 27 and TNT Express are to provide storage trucks at the beginning and end of the race so that the 15,000 participants are able to keep their personal possessions safe for the duration of the marathon.

In addition to this, the courier company are to import the runner packs from Asia as well as the timing equipment from Europe, so they arrive in plenty of time beforehand.

Mark Pell, country general manager for TNT Express UAE, said:

“We are proud to be associated with the Dubai Marathon for the fifth year in a row. This is a great opportunity for TNT to raise brand awareness, not only amongst the runners and fellow sponsors, but also amongst the huge crowds who turn out to support the event.”

Staff from the courier will be there to look after the belongings of the runners and ensure they are secured until the owners are able to collect them at the finish.
