FedEx Express adds new markets to freight shipping remit
The markets to be serviced by the express transport company include parts of the Caribbean as well as Latin American countries.
Customers will therefore have much more choice when it comes to bigger shipments as FedEx’s international economy freight and international priority freight will now go to a wider coverage of destinations across the globe.
This news comes soon after the economy service was introduced to Colombia, Dominican Republic and Argentina among others.
What this expanded service means to customers in these countries is that they will be able to take advantage of priority freight which is delivered within three working days and the economy service which delivers the shipment within five days.
Juan Cento, president, FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean, said in the statement:
“The expansion of FedEx international priority freight and FedEx international economy freight demonstrates our continued commitment to offer shipping solutions that meet the needs of our customers in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
“We are now offering exporters of larger shipments the same high-quality service, reliability and unparalleled transportation expertise that FedEx provides around the world.”
