FedEx Express staff give thumbs up to working in UAE

The survey, which was carried out by Great Place to Work Institute UAE (GPTW UAE), was aimed at focusing on certain areas of businesses, such as their fairness, respect and credibility, with two-thirds of the overall score dependent on their confidential employee feedback.

Human resources practices and a management audit make up the rest of the assessment to give a company an overall score. After taking the runner-up prize last year, FedEx Express has taken the top spot.

Dr. Michael Burchell, partner and director of the consultancy firm, said:

"We are pleased to see new companies make the list this year and that some of our previous list makers have improved their positions among the top 10. This shows they are applying what they learn from the research into models for continuous business improvement."
