DHL preparing for mass shipments of Apples new iPad

Publication AppleInsider has revealed that the shipping company is getting ready for large shipments from China to the United States, due to the fact that the cost of air cargo through DHL has increased somewhat.

Although it has not been confirmed at the moment, Apple looks set to take up flight freight capacity in advance of the big announcement.
Shipping to America from the Far East has become more costly this week as the massive importation of goods is taking up capacity on DHL flights.

Other Apple media have corroborated this information and sources in the delivery industry have confirmed that premium rates are in place at this present time for DHL freight services between these parts of the world.

With millions of units expected to be available on the day of the launch this is entirely understandable, with DHL being one of a number of shipping companies used by Apple to bring the new product over to the US.
