DHL logistics centre in Greven set to undergo expansion

The courier is extending its existing contract with Home Shopping Europe, an online and TV retailer in consumer goods which is based in Munich. In addition to this, DHL Parcel Germany is also to take over HSE24’s warehousing management.

The centre, located in the north-west of the country, will be where the entire operations will be operated from. After the building works have finished, around 84,000 orders a day will be processed from here, with 250,000 garments stored in the facility.

DHL Parcel Germany’s Katja Herbst said of the news:

"The combination of the expansion of the logistics centre in Greven, and the direct access to the already-modernised parcel centre, places us is a position to offer an integrated solution that is ideally suited for the particular requirements of the teleshopping business, as well as for HSE24′s growth strategy."

Now all the courier’s home delivery services can be consolidated in the one place and mail order and ecommerce operations will have all they need here.
