Excess baggage allowance updated by Heathrow Airport authorities

Today, Heathrow airport published an update on the excess baggage allowance for its passengers. A PIA spokesperson confirmed that passengers will only be allowed two luggage pieces per person when travelling during the Olympic Games period from 1^st August to 30^th September.

Additional luggage pieces will be charged at a rate of GBP 25 per item on top of the general excess baggage charges. That way economy passengers will be able to take a total weight of 30kgs with them whilst business class passengers will be allowed 40kgs for two luggage pieces.
