Heathrow Airport Holding’s airports have reported ever changing fortunes for the current year, with Heathrow Airport bringing a particularly positive increase due to developing markets.

While Heathrow itself reached a 6.9% increase during May, comparing to that of the same month of last year, with the additional aid of growth with regards to countries including China, Brazil, Mexico, Nigeria and India, Aberdeen International Airport witnessed its cargo fall 19.8%. Heathrow’s airports Southampton and Glasgow reached 12.6% and 33.5% increases, respectively.

While growth helped with May’s figures and statistics, disappointment has been revealed for the first five months of 2014. When comparing January to May of last year to the current year, it has been recorded that the majority of cargo has plummeted significantly.
