UPS has recently announced the addition of three new buildings, as well as the expansion of another four of its buildings in various North American locations. An influx of customers has fuelled the demand for both new and expanded facilities in US states California and Kentucky, and Canadian city Toronto.

Stephen Hydrick, UPS Vice President of North American Distribution, has said: “These investments are needed to not only support our existing customers and their growth but to also create capacity to support our new business expansion. As our customers grow, we will continue to find and invest in solutions.”

UPS’s current worldwide network includes 596 facilities covering an impressive 32.8 million square foot. Throughout its network, UPS has facilities including warehousing and fulfilment, inventory, transportation, custom packaging and much more. Its modern facilities are important to customers, with 99% of the US population depending on the company’s two-day transit times.
