Cargo 2000 awards DB Schenker with Platinum Membership
- DB Schenker Logistics, has achieved Platinum Membership with Cargo 2000, the leading air cargo industry quality standard.

The industry group Cargo 2000 currently counts 80 major airlines, forwarders and third parties in the air freight industry amongst its members. It’s a non-profit group aiming at creating and maintaining high quality industry standards and management systems.
“We are proud that we have reached this classification. And this is more than only good news for our customers, as it shows how seriously we take increasing the quality of air cargo processes internally and externally”, said Thomas Mack, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Air Freight at Schenker AG.DB Schenker is now one of only two logistics providers and five carriers who have been granted with Cargo 2000 highest membership classification.
Cargo 2000 air freight quality standard assessment is based on a points system whereby members can reach four levels: Member, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Due to the fact of being one of the leading air freight companies as well as having high quality management, DB Schenker were awarded with Platinum.
