UPS Freight announced earlier this week that it would be raising its rates by 5.9% for non-contractual shipments within the United States, Canada and Mexico. The changes will take effect from next Monday 10th June and will apply to minimum charges, less than-truckload and truckload rates.
This is the second time that UPS have raised their rates in a 12 months period: the freight branch of the UPS logisitics company raised its rates in July 2012, also by 5.9%.
