Freight forwarder Transglobal Express is excited to announce the launch of its fresh, new-look German website. Having specialised in the export and import of parcel and packages for the past 20 years, Transglobal Express expanded by opening its Frankfurt based office during 2011. Having been part of the Transglobal family for three years now, the company’s German website has recently undergone a transformation, enhancing its appearance and introducing a substantial amount of brilliant new features for its European customers to benefit from.

Customer friendly

Its appearance is similar to that of Transglobal’s UK website, which refreshed its image almost a year ago. Both websites are now in line with a distinct colour coordinated interface, whilst also being user friendly and easy to navigate around. Customers are welcomed by a simple yet informative home page, featuring a menu which enables visitors to find their way around the website with ease. It is clear from the offset that Transglobal’s aim is to provide shipping solutions worldwide on a better designed, customer friendly platform.

The website includes more of the information its customers need, presented clean and simply. The information is jargon-free, appealing to a wide spectrum of shippers, both business and private. The improved navigation system enables visitors of the website to find the information they are looking for with ease. The site also now features a search facility, in which customers can enter a keyword or phrase, making finding specific information easier than ever.

New features

The new website's improved image has been accompanied by new features which are aimed at being highly advantageous for Transglobal customers. Customers using the website will be able to benefit from the newly introduced Loyalty Points scheme. Similar to the points scheme which was introduced to Transglobal's UK site at the beginning of the year, customers placing orders will earn 1 point per 1 Euro spent. With each point equalling 1 cent, customers will see their points build up over time, which can then be redeemed off future orders. Customers can redeem their points at any time from their My Account area, converting the points into instant credit. Following its success with its UK customers, this feature is expected to give shippers an incentive to send their parcels and packages through Transglobal Express.

The re-launch of the website also sees the introduction of Pre-Pay credit. In regards to this, customers are now able to add an amount of their choice onto their account. The process of adding the credit is simple, and then allows customers to place orders using the credit, eliminating the need to enter card details each time. Pre-pay credit does not expire, allowing customers to budget their shipments in advance if needed.

Continuous improvements

The re-launch of Transglobal’s German website doesn’t stop there; the company has vowed the new-look website is the only the start of on-going and continous improvements. Web Development Manager, Stephen Roberts, has said: “The improvements of the new site don’t stop with the launch: we are constantly working to add new features and make improvements for our customers.”

Existing registered customers of Transglobal Express can continue to use the new-look site as normal. Customers can now benefit from an improved account area, complete with a fresh-looking tracking facility. If you are situated in Germany and are looking for a low cost solution to your shipping needs, be sure to visit the newly improved www.transglobalexpress.de.
