DHL adds Sweden to its European parcel network

DHL has integrated Sweden into its European parcel network, official as of November 1st. According to DHL, this means that their network now contains the primary market of Northern Europe.

The Swedish network, now operated by DHL Parcel, was previously managed by DHL Freight. DHL Freight will continue to partner up with DHL Parcel to help with the transport and delivery of items.

Service Points will be rebranded as DHL Parcelshops, of which there are now more than 10,000 across Europe, not including Germany. This is notable as private parcel shipments in Sweden are usually not door-to-door, which makes the country a significant addition to the Parcelshop network.
