UPS has appointed Cindy Miller as their new president of global freight forwarding. Miller was previously President of UPS Europe.
UPS achieved record growth across the European region under Miller’s leadership, with several acquisitions and facility expansions. She also oversaw expansions in the Healthcare and Retail/B2C sectors, as well as rolling out both UPS My Choice and UPS Access Point.
Miller is UPS’ first female president of global freight forwarding. She has been with the company for 28 years, beginning her career as a UPS driver in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Miller said of her appointment: “With a senior management team of more than 1,200 combined years of experience, customers can rely on UPS to partner with them on their global logistics needs.”
