The different means of sending your excess baggage

Air freight:
This is definitely the easiest and quickest way of getting your excess baggage sent. However, you may end up paying more for air freight services just because of the costs involved. Other services may need around 14 days transit time when shipping baggage to the destination. So, if you need your baggage quickly, air freight is the best option to go for.

Road freight:

The ability to utilise road freight depends on where you are moving to and from. If possible, road freight is a good option as it is a fast and flexible alternative for shipping your luggage from place to place. Similar to sea freight, you can check the location of your possessions at all stages of the journey.

Sea freight:
This is a popular option among younger travellers as it is very economical. However, compared to air freight, sea freight may take a considerably longer time for your possessions to reach you. In some cases, it may even take up to 12 weeks. So, if you are sending your belongings via the sea route, make sure that you have worked this delay into your plans.
