TNT improves its international parcel and freight services to Germany

Parcel delivery company TNT has recently upgraded its international delivery service within Germany to now offer next-day parcel and freight deliveries to all possible postcodes. The upgrade may also see the service eventually provide optional delivery before 12:00 nationwide for parcels and freight shipments.

The improved service is anticipated to be of a benefit to those companies looking to export goods to Germany, which is Europe’s largest delivery market and TNT’s number one destination for international shipments. It is expected to be particularly advantageous to those in the automotive, industrial, high-tech and healthcare sectors.

Managing Director of TNT International Europe, Ian Clough, said: “Improving service to customers is central to TNT’s Outlook strategy. We are determined to increase the reach and efficiency of our international express delivery in Europe, starting with…Germany.”

The upgrade follows numerous improvements TNT has made recently to its operations, including further investments in its European Road Network, and its air hub in Liege, Belgium.
