TNT Express lands contract with European engine manufacturer company

TNT has recently been given a contract for the supply of international and domestic delivery services to MTU Aero Engines, Germany’s leading engine manufacturer company.

The awarded contract sees TNT Express move aircraft engine parts between the manufacturer’s facilities in Munich, Hannover and Berlin-Brandenburg, to its aerospace customers throughout Europe, with the most important destinations being the UK and Ireland. The new contract involves the inclusion of handling return shipments of specific components to MTU Aero Engines’ maintenance hubs within Germany.

MTU Aero Engines’ choice to use TNT Express has been based on the parcel delivery company’s ability to provide a combination of both premium and deferred delivery services. Using TNT’S European Road Network, a high volume of shipments travel via, with this being tracked using an on-time delivery warranty.
