Some tips which will make sure your air freight delivery is safe and secure

Packaging your product properly is one of the most important things to do. Proper packaging ensures your delivery content is protected even in the worst conditions. Try and put your goods in boxes with a lot of protection inside. Use bubble wrap so as to secure your item from shifting around and also to provide padding if the box is crushed.

Packaging must be sturdy so as to protect your parcel better. Ordinary cardboard boxes will sometimes do the trick, but only if your product is moisture friendly. In case your parcel is susceptible to damage through moisture, wrap each item properly in plastic sheets so as to avoid any kind of water getting to them.
Polystyrene packing peanuts can be used for padding too. These, like bubble wrap, will make sure your goods do not shift around excessively during the journey. Constant shifting and movement can cause damage to fragile goods.

Use printed labels to mark your delivery if it is particularly fragile or requires careful handling. Mention the type of goods on the label and make sure labels are properly visible. It is the responsibility of customers to make sure the goods which are being shipped are legal for transport, especially if they are to pass through customs.

Perishable items must be shipped quickly and customer must make sure these are delivered on time. Air freight might not provide the required essentials for some perishable items. One must first confirm it with the delivery company and then decide if the parcel should still be sent via air freight.
