Companies such as FedEx continue to come forward in joining the disaster relief and recovery efforts for a fire which occurred in the town of Lahaina, in Maui County, Hawaii, during August.

FedEx have fulfilled their support promises as they have delivered various medicines, food and water to Maui, contributed by disaster relief organisations including the Red Cross. It is noted FedEx are in regular contact with these organisations to ensure that the necessary resources are shipped quickly and efficiently.

FedEx’s disaster response update page has stated that from 15th-18th August they have delivered various supplies and resources to different organisations. Some of these include pallets of cooking supplies for World Central Kitchen and two pallets of hygiene kits for Heart to Heart International.

Many businesses, including Amazon and United Airlines, have vowed to assist in providing relief for this crisis as FedEx continues to support this disaster.
