Air Malta updates ground services equipment by investing EUR 3.5m
Air Malta has made a EUR 3.5 million investment in its new ground service equipment. The air freight services provider aims at modernising and optimising its equipment in order to provide customers with high quality product packages.
“We are taking a comprehensive review of every element in the organisation, not only at a financial turnaround. This investment is part of the airline’s restructuring efforts aimed at offering all our customers, both individual travellers and corporate airline clients, the best in high quality service s and increase confidence in their airline of choice”, confirmed Peter Davies, Chief Executive of Air Malta.
Amongst the many items which are aimed at modernising the air freight services company’s ground handling equipment, are high-reach mobile passenger steps, airport buses, air starter units, baggage and cargo carts and 35 vehicles. According to Air Malta, equipment worth EUR 2.3 million has already been delivered. The remaining items are expected to arrive until Christmas.
