Booking an Import Service
Importing parcels for the first time? Our booking process is simple. You can get an instant quote and compare the available services by entering weight, dimensions and collection country in the form above.
To book a UK import, simply select the service you would like and enter your collection and delivery addresses. For import services, you can select a preferred collection date, which your chosen carrier will confirm with the sender.
As soon as your parcel is collected, you’ll be able to trace its progress to your door using your TP reference number. All the documentation you need will be produced for you during the booking process—but don’t forget to forward it to the collection point in advance of collection!
UK import customs information
If you are planning to import a parcel to the UK from a country outside of the European Union, your shipment will be subject to UK customs clearance. For clearance, your parcels must be accompanied by four copies of your Customs Invoice, which is the document detailing the content and value of your parcel.
When you make a booking, the Customs Invoice will be generated automatically, emailed to you and saved to your account area. Alternatively, if you are shipping for commercial reasons, you are welcome to create your own Customs Invoices.
UK import transit times
Transit times will vary depending on where you are shipping from, and whether you choose an express or economy service. Next day delivery is available from most European countries, while imports from North America can take as few as 2-3 days. Parcels imported from countries further afield such as China or Australia can take 4-5 working days to reach your door.
Economy services, which are generally recommended for bulkier shipments, can take longer. To get an estimate of how long your parcel will take to reach you, you can use carriers’ transit time calculators.
