- Delivery across the UK
- Operates via our depot with optional collection from your door
- How it works - more info
UPS collects directly from our depot for this service. This means you have a few different options to choose from when it comes to dropping off your parcel or having it collected from your door.
Collections from your door
Collections from your door are arranged by Transglobal Express, with a choice of carriers. In some areas of London, North West England and the East Midlands, we will collect your parcels ourselves - at no extra cost to you.
If you are booking a non-Transglobal collection, please add 1 working day to the estimated transit time to allow for overnight delivery to our depot.
You can also drop off at one of our depots (or partner shops - see full list), or choose one of hundreds of DPD drop-off or UPS Access Point™ locations nationwide.
If booking a collection, unless we are collecting your parcel ourselves, your shipping labels will show our depot as the destination address.
Once your shipment arrives at our depot, we'll process it, relabel if required and send it on to its final address.
Please refer to our documentation page for labelling instructions for each collection and drop-off option.

- For multi-piece shipments, UPS calculates the actual weight or the volumetric weight of each parcel (whichever is greater) and then adds them all together, rather than calculating the total weight or volume of the whole consignment.
- Volumetric weight is calculated using 5000 as the divisor. How volumetric weight is calculated.

Additional Information for UPS
- Day Before Delivery Alerts - more info
Day Before Delivery Alert
UPS can send the recipient an automatic email or SMS alert the day before delivery, with the option to redirect or reschedule. All you need to do is provide a valid email address and a phone number with the international country code for the UK - 0044.
- Delivery Attempts - more info
UPS will make only two "proactive" delivery attempts for domestic shipments. After this, UPS will attempt to contact the consignee or shipper to arrange a third attempt. After 5 business days, it will be marked as undeliverable and returned to the shipper.
This includes services where Signature Required has been selected.
- Driver Release Policy - more info
Driver Release Policy
For the UK, UPS operates a driver release policy, which means packages may be left at residential delivery addresses without a signature—unless you request a Signature Required service (see Surcharges).
Driver release applies as long as there is a safe, out-of-sight location that is sheltered from the weather. The residence must be a single-family dwelling with a private entrance.
However, this does not apply to business addresses or multi-family dwellings (apartments, condos, etc). Deliveries of high value packages will be at the driver’s discretion.
- Saturday Deliveries - more info
Saturday deliveries are available with the UPS Express® Saturday service.
Collections for this service must be arranged for the preceding Friday.
- X-Ray Policy - more info
Due to heightened security measures, UPS may deem some items to be 'too dense for X-ray', in which case they will be returned. We are unable to supply a list of items to which this may apply. However, heavy car parts and audio equipment are often returned for this reason. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these measures, which are outside our control.
