Documentation

We will automatically generate your Shipping Label (Air Waybill) and Packing List (Customs Invoice). These will vary depending on the service you choose and on your destination, but we endeavour to make this as simple as possible for you.

If you have opted to use your own Packing List, you can download a blank template in Excel or PDF formats. You can also download declaration documents for Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. Download links are available below.

Please note: a Collection Manifest is made available for all services. Please have this signed either by the driver or the receiving agent as proof of collection/drop-off.

Additional documentation may be required depending on commodity and destination—please refer to the customs regulations of your destination country.

Please note: A Customs Invoice / Packing List is now required for all shipments between the UK and the EU.

Asendia

If you choose DPD collection/drop-off:

  • Please print off two copies of your Shipping Label as the driver or agent may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • We will re-label your consignment for the outbound journey once it reaches our depot. We will attach the new Shipping Label, as well as the Packing List/Customs Invoice if applicable.

If you choose UPS collection/UPS Access Point:

  • Please print off two copies of your Shipping Label as the driver (or agent at the Access Point) may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • We will re-label your consignment for the outbound journey once it reaches our depot. We will attach the new Shipping Label, as well as the Packing List/Customs Invoice if applicable.

If you choose TG Courier collection:

  • Please print off your Shipping Label and securely attach it to your parcel.
  • Please attach one copy of your Packing List/Customs Invoice to each parcel.

If dropping off at our depot:

  • Please print off your Shipping Label and securely attach it to your parcel.
  • Please attach one copy of your Packing List/Customs Invoice to each parcel.

All shipments:

  • Please ensure that you use the Shipping Labels provided by Transglobal Express to avoid any billing complications.
  • If you have your own Packing List/Customs Invoice that you wish to use, please email it to sales@transglobalexpress.co.uk, with 'Alternative Invoice' and your TP- reference number in the subject field.

DHL

  • Please print and attach one copy of your DHL Shipping Labels (Air Waybills)—there should be one for each parcel, plus an archive document which should remain loose.
  • Each parcel within your consignment must be labelled.
  • Please ensure that you use the documentation provided by Transglobal Express to avoid any billing complications with DHL.
  • For international shipments, your Packing List/Customs Invoice will be forwarded electronically to the courier.

DPD (Europe)

  • Please print two copies of your DPD Shipping Label (Air Waybill), as DPD may require a spare. Attach one to the parcel; the other should remain loose.
  • Each parcel within your consignment must be labelled.
  • Please ensure that you use the documentation provided by Transglobal Express to avoid any billing complications with DPD.
  • Please also attach your Packing List/Customs Invoice. For B2B shipments to Italy or Austria, please attach three copies, preferably in an envelope or a "documents enclosed" wallet for protection.

DPD (UK)

If you choose DPD collection/drop-off:

  • Please print off two copies of your Shipping Label as the driver or agent may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • We will re-label your consignment for the outbound journey once it reaches our depot, attaching the new Shipping Label.

If you choose UPS collection/UPS Access Point:

  • Please print off two copies of your Shipping Label as the driver (or agent at the Access Point) may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • We will re-label your consignment for the outbound journey once it reaches our depot, attaching the new Shipping Label.

If you choose TG Courier collection:

  • Please print off your Shipping Label and securely attach it to your parcel.

If dropping off at our depot:

FedEx

If you have booked a direct door-to-door service with FedEx International Priority® or FedEx International Economy®, please print and attach the Shipping Label to your parcel (one per box).

Your Packing List will be submitted electronically for most destinations. However, you may be instructed to print and attach four copies of your Packing List for some countries.

For FedEx services from our depot, where you have booked optional collection from a different carrier:

If you choose DPD collection/drop-off:

Landmark Global

TG Air Economy

  • Print one copy of your Shipping Label and attach it to your parcel.
  • Print and attach five copies of your Packing List in an envelope or "documents enclosed" wallet for protection. Do not hand loose copies to the driver.
  • Please print your Collection Manifest and request for it to be signed by the driver upon collection, or by the agent when dropping off at your local receiving centre.

TG Euro Parcel, TG Express, TG Express Direct (with Collection/UPS & DPD Drop-Off)

If you choose DPD collection/drop-off:

  • Please print off two copies of your Shipping Label as the driver or agent may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • We will re-label your consignment for the outbound journey once it reaches our depot. We will attach the new Shipping Label, as well as the Packing List/Customs Invoice if applicable.

If you choose UPS collection/UPS Access Point:

  • Please print off two copies of your Shipping Label as the driver (or agent at the Access Point) may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.

TG Euro Parcel, TG Express, TG Express Direct (Drop Off at Transglobal Depot)

If you are dropping your parcel off at our depot:

  • We will generate your shipping documentation, which will be available for you to download from your ‘My Account’ area after you have made your booking.
  • You will need to print your Shipping Label, and Packing List/Customs Invoice if applicable, and ensure this is securely attached to your parcel.
  • For all parcels sent internationally, our carriers require a Packing List/Customs Invoice detailing the size, weight, contents and value of your goods for customs purposes.
  • If you are not able to print your documents, please get in touch and we can send them to you.

If you are sending to our depot using your own carrier, please put 'Transglobal Express (Your TP- order reference number)' at the top of the depot address.

  • TG Express:
    • Shipping Label - print and attach one label per parcel, plus loose archive document
    • Packing List/Customs Invoice (if applicable) - print four copies and attach them to your parcel, preferably in an envelope or document enclosed wallet for protection
  • TG Euro Parcel:

  • TG Express Direct:
    • Shipping Label - print and attach one label per parcel

TG International (from the USA)

For TG International Express or Economy services from the USA, please print and attach the Shipping Label to your parcel (one per box). Your Packing List will be submitted electronically for most destinations. However, you may be instructed to print and attach four copies of your Packing List for some countries.

TNT

  • For our TNT export services, you will need to print and attach one TNT Shipping Label (Air Waybill) per piece in your consignment. Each parcel within your consignment must be labelled.
  • Please print the Collection Manifest and four copies of your Consignment Note. Attach two Notes to the parcel and give two to the driver.
  • For our TNT import services, you will need to print one copy of the entire five-page label, plus an additional copy of the first page for each individual box.
  • Please print off four copies of your Packing List/Customs Invoice. Attach two to the parcel and give two to the driver. If your destination is Northern Ireland, please print five copies and give three to the driver.
  • Please ensure that you use the documentation provided by Transglobal Express, unless otherwise specified, to avoid any billing complications with TNT.

UPS (including UPS Access Point)

  • Please print two copies of your UPS Shipping Label (Air Waybill), as the driver (or agent at the Access Point) may require a spare. Attach one to the parcel; the other should remain loose.
  • Please ensure that you use the documentation provided by Transglobal Express to avoid any billing complications with UPS.
  • If you are dropping your parcel off at a UPS Access Point, please don’t forget to deliver all of the necessary paperwork with it.
  • For all international services, print four copies of your Packing List/Customs Invoice and attach them to your parcel, preferably in an envelope or document enclosed wallet for protection

USPS

  • If you have opted for DPD collection, please print two copies of your Collection Shipping Label (Air Waybill), as the driver may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • If you have opted for UPS collection/Access Point, please print two copies of your Collection Shipping Label (Air Waybill), as the driver or agent at the depot may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • In all cases, print one copy of your USPS label and securely attach it to your parcel. If using TG Courier collection or dropping off, this is the only label required along with your Packing List.
  • Please ensure that you use the labels provided by Transglobal Express to avoid any billing complications with USPS or the other carriers.
  • Please print your Packing List/Customs Invoice and attach one copy to each parcel. If you have your own packing list, you may use that instead.

FedEx/TG International additional documentation

The following documentation links are for additional paperwork that may be required for our FedEx or TG International services. We will contact you in the event that any of these are needed. For your primary documentation, please refer to the relevant FedEx or TG Services sections above.

Please note: Your AWB number will only be available once we have received the shipment at our depot.

Are you shipping internationally?

If you are shipping to or from a country outside of the EU, a Customs Invoice / Packing List is required. This is a document detailing the contents and value of your goods for customs purposes, which you will be invited to submit during the booking process. The Customs Invoice will speed up customs clearance and enable the relevant authorities to calculate any customs charges.

For some services, this is submitted electronically. For others, you will need to print off copies and attach them to your parcel, preferably in an envelope or "document enclosed" wallet for protection. We advise four copies as standard, but this may vary. We'll let you know the exact requirement in your labelling instructions.

A Customs Invoice / Packing List is required for all international shipments except those between EU countries. It is required for all UK-EU shipments.
