TG Euro Parcel

General Information

With our TG Euro Parcel service, you can choose to deliver your consignment into our warehouse yourself, or to use our optional collection service. From our warehouse, your consignment will then be sent to its destination.

TG Euro Parcel is a particularly good choice for economical bulk orders, as our cheap rates offset collection costs and longer transit times.

How It Works...

When booking our TG Euro Parcel service, you have the option of dropping your consignment off at our warehouse or using one of our collection services. Once your shipment has been delivered to our warehouse, we will process it and forward your parcel to its final destination via our carriers.

  • We will generate your shipping documentation, which will be available for you to download from your ‘My Account’ area after you have made your booking.
  • You will need to print your Shipping Label, and Packing List/Customs Invoice if applicable, and ensure this is securely attached to your parcel.
  • For all parcels sent to destinations outside of the European Union, our carriers require a Packing List/Customs Invoice detailing the size, weight, contents and value of your goods for customs purposes. 
  • If you are not able to print your documents, please get in touch and we can send them to you.

If you are sending to our warehouse using your own carrier, please put 'Transglobal Express (Your TP- order reference number)' at the top of the depot address.


If your consignment is being collected:

If you are unable to drop off your shipment at our warehouse, you can choose one of our collection services. These will deliver your consignment to our warehouse, before it is sent on to its final destination.

If you choose TNT collection:

  • Once your booking is complete, we will generate your TNT documents. These are made available for you to download from your 'My Account' area.
  • You will need to print and securely attach the TNT Shipping Label to your parcel and give the TNT Collection Manifest and Consignment Notes to the driver.
  • We will re-label your consignment for the outbound journey once it reaches our warehouse. We will attach the new Shipping Label, as well as the Packing List/Customs Invoice if applicable.

If you choose TG Parcel collection:

  • Please print off two copies of your Shipping Label as the driver may require a spare. Securely attach one to your parcel.
  • We will re-label your consignment for the outbound journey once it reaches our warehouse. We will attach the new Shipping Label, as well as the Packing List/Customs Invoice if applicable.

If you choose TG Courier collection (currently London only):

  • Please print off your Shipping Label and securely attach it to your parcel.
  • If applicable, we will generate your Packing List/Customs Invoice once your parcel reaches our warehouse.

For all parcels sent to destinations outside of the European Union, our carriers require a Packing List/Customs Invoice detailing the size, weight, contents and value of your goods for customs purposes.

If you have your own Packing List/Customs Invoice that you wish to use, please email it to sales@transglobalexpress.co.uk, with 'Alternative Invoice' and your TP- reference number in the subject field.

If you are not able to print any of your documents, please get in touch and we will be happy to post hard copies to you.

DPD Predict

You can use the DPD Predict service with TG Euro Parcel. If the recipient's mobile number is provided when booking through Transglobal Express, DPD will text them to announce a one-hour delivery window (e.g. 10am-11am). They will also receive an email, or can track their delivery via DPD's app.

If they won't be at home, recipients can change the delivery day, reroute the parcel to the nearest DPD Pickup shop, or arrange to have it left in a safe place or with a neighbour.

Size and Weight Restrictions

Restrictions may vary depending on the destination of your shipment. The following information is provided as a general guide:

  • Maximum piece weight: 30kg
  • Maximum length: 100cm
  • Maximum size: 300cm girth*

Girth is calculated as follows: (sum of two smallest dimensions x 2) + longest dimension.

For example: for a parcel of dimensions 20 x 30 x 40cm:

(20 + 30) x 2 + 40  = 140cm

Prohibited & Restricted Items

  • Liquids are not accepted on this service.
  • Suitcases are not accepted on this service.
  • Jewellery and watches are not accepted.
  • Items should be packaged in boxes only, not jiffy bags, unboxed bubble wrap, etc.
  • Our list of hazardous, prohibited and restricted items is available here, including those sent at the owner's risk.
  • For up to date information specific to DPD, please check their prohibited items page. Please note that prohibited items are subject to vary depending on your delivery destination.
