Thermal Label Settings
Is your shipping label not printing out correctly when using a thermal label printer—even when using our thermal label download?
Typical problems include the label only partially filling the thermal label, printing out over multiple labels, or even ‘printing’ blank labels.
Fortunately there’s an easy solution to all of these problems, which is to manually set the dimensions (height and width) of the label before printing.
While labels come in different shapes and sizes from our carriers, we have a standardised thermal label size of 15x10cm.
Please refer to the below for instructions for your system:
Windows 7/8
Start -> Devices & Printers -> Right-click on your Zebra printer -> Printer Properties -> Preferences (under General tab).
Under Paper Format, set the unit of measurement to centimetres (cm).
Under Size, enter the width of 10cm and the height of 15cm. Click OK.
This will set the size for the current user. To set the size for all users who connect to the printer, go to the Advanced tab, click Preferences -> Printing Defaults… and enter the same information for Paper Format and Size. Then click OK.
Windows 10
Start -> Printers & scanners. Select your Zebra printer from the list and click Manage. Then click Printer Properties -> Preferences… (under the General tab).
