DPD leases last unit at Martlesham Heath Business Park

DPD has taken a five-year lease on the last available unit at Martlesham Heath Business Park near Ipswich.

The 32,986 square foot Unit One Beardmore has been let by Redwood (Light Industrial) Propco SARL, jointly advised by real estate agents Savills and Elsom Spettigue Associates. It’s the largest warehouse letting in the city so far this year.

“We let the unit to DPD within record time, prior to the previous tenant’s lease expiry, meaning a zero void period and continuity of income for the landlord,” said Phil Dennis, director of business space at Savills Chelmsford.

“Martlesham Heath Business Park remains incredibly popular with businesses, providing high quality business accommodation in an established out of town location.”

Martlesham Heath is located roughly eight miles east of Ipswich, next to the A12.
