DPD UK appoints Elaine Kerr as new CEO

Elaine Kerr has been appointed the new CEO of DPD UK, effective as of 1st June 2021.

Kerr has been a part of the company for 28 years, starting as a Sales Executive in North West England and taking on customer relationship roles before joining the DPD UK senior management team in 2008.

She became Executive Director of Sales, CRM and Customer Services just last year.

Kerr’s appointment follows the departure of Dwain McDonald, who left the company abruptly in March.

The CEO of DPD UK reports to Yves Delmas, COO of DPDgroup Europe.

“Elaine has had a tremendous career with DPD and has been instrumental in growing our customer portfolio to include some of the most prestigious brands and securing our continued growth, both domestically and internationally,” Delmas said of Kerr.

“Her passion for ensuring that we put our customers at the heart of everything we do continually improves the customer experience and keeps us striving to deliver the next innovation.

“Elaine will now continue this success story in the role of CEO, building on the strengths of the senior management team to lead the business to a new chapter, and I wish her every success in her new role.”
