TNT publishes Christmas delivery schedule

TNT Express, one of our major suppliers for both UK and international deliveries has published its delivery schedule for this year's festive period. The last collection date for UK time definite delivery before Christmas is Monday 23rd December. Shipments collected on this day on a 9:00, 10:00 or 12:00 Next Day Express UK service will be delivered on Christmas Eve.Please note that cut-off times for same day collection vary depending on your location in the UK, so for added peace of mind, we'd recommend booking by Friday 20th December at the latest, to ensure that your collection can be booked in for the following Monday.The cut-off period is also the same for 9:00, 10:00 and next day Express International services. Economy Express and 12:00 Economy Express International services collected on the 23rd December are expected to be delivered by Tuesday 31st December.

While no deliveries will take place on 27th December, collection will take place day throughout the UK. There will be no collections or deliveries on the three UK bank holidays of the Christmas period: Christmas Day (Wednesday 25th December), Boxing Day (Thursday 26th December) and New Year's Day (Wednesday 1st January 2014).

As a general guide, we'd recommend adding a day or two extra onto the proposed delivery schedules calculated in our transit times calculator tools to account for increased Christmas volumes.
