UPS and FedEx to face off in friendly hockey game

This weekend, in Anchorage, Alaska’s most populous city, FedEx and UPS employees will be competing against each other in a friendly ice hockey game.

The event is intended to raise awareness of United Way of Anchorage, a charity that helps children and families with access to healthcare, schooling and affordable housing. It's a local branch of the worldwide United Way organisation. UPS and FedEx have both worked with the organisation for over 30 years, raising billions of dollars.

The match will take place on Sunday at Anchorage's Subway Sports Center.
