A last-minute FedEx delivery saved a wedding ceremony in North Carolina earlier this month.
Savannah Kulenic and Dylan Perkins arranged a pared-down beach ceremony with a select few attendees after their trip to Hawaii was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The company the couple had bought the wedding rings from had also closed temporarily—but opened up again the day before the ceremony was due to take place.
Savannah and Dylan booked an overnight priority service from FedEx, but the ceremony was scheduled for 3pm and the delivery for 4:30pm.
However, FedEx driver Joe Engel caught wind of the couple's plans, and urgently made his way down to the beach, handing the couple their FedEx package mid-ceremony.
Day saved, the happy couple celebrated the rest of their wedding.
