We’ve added what3words address look-up for Hermes deliveries and Transglobal Express collection services.
What3words is a geocode system in which every three-metre square in the world is assigned a unique three-word identifier.
It allows for more accurate geolocation than postcodes, helping drivers to identify collection and delivery points more precisely, and even locate specific building entrances.
For example, ‘dusted.owner.tastes’ marks the reception entrance of our depot in Bromborough, Wirral.
When can I use it?
What3words is currently available for any service via our depot when you book an optional collection from your door with TG Courier (i.e. we collect your parcel ourselves). This collection service is available across London and North West England.
You can also use what3words for the delivery address of any Hermes order.
You’ll be given the opportunity to use what3words when entering the receiver address details during your booking, or when selecting your collection option.
