FedEx launches ninth "FedEx Cares Week"

From Monday to Friday of this week, FedEx employees will partake in volunteer and community participation projects as part of the ninth annual FedEx Cares week.

FedEx employees in more than 40 US cities and multiple countries internationally, will be giving their time to support projects such as planting trees inThailand, building transitional homes as part of the TECHO (roof) project in Latin America and redesigning a school library in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rose Flenorl, manager of Global Citizenship, commented “FedEx Cares Week gives FedEx team members across the globe the opportunity to make a difference in their own backyards, A passion for volunteerism is ingrained in the FedEx corporate culture, and FedEx Cares Week is just one of the many ways we join together to give back.”
