Loyalty scheme launched

Transglobal Express is proud to announce the introduction of its Loyalty Points Scheme. The new scheme will enable customers to benefit even further when using the company’s services by accumulating points every time they send a shipment.

The new Loyalty Points feature will enable customers to earn one point for every pound spent with Transglobal. They will see their points build up every time a booking is made, and points can be redeemed off future orders. Customers can view how many points they have accumulated from within their My Account area. When customers want to use their points, they will be able to redeem these from within their My Account area. Once redeemed, the points are converted into credit. This credit will then become available at the end of an order for customers to use against the order total. Credit account users will also be able to benefit; once points have been redeemed, the credit is deducted from their monthly invoice.

Customer Feedback Survey results

The idea of implementing a loyalty scheme has been derived from the results of a recent survey that Transglobal Express invited their customers to complete. The outcome of the survey showed that the idea of a loyalty scheme appeared as most popular when customers were asked what additional features they would find useful. Over 76% of those who completed the customer survey made it apparent that they would find a scheme such as loyalty points beneficial to them. Transglobal's Managing Director, Lawson Archer, said that the new feature comes from listening to the customers: "The idea of the survey was that we learned what our customers really wanted most, apart from good value and service. The answer was some form of discount or benefit for regular customers. It is important not just to ask for customer’s views but to act on them when they are given! We hope the new scheme is well received."

Further developments

The introduction of the Loyalty Points scheme is not the only new feature Transglobal Express has implemented as of late. A new Upload Centre facility has been introduced and is to prove highly successful. The new feature will provide an accessible and easy way for both customers and Transglobal Customer Service advisors to upload any documents if necessary. Transglobal's higher volume customers will benefit from this feature for the ability to upload invoices frequently and with ease.
