FedEx honour Rob Carter for Sustainability Leadership award

Executive Vice President of Information Services.Chief Information Officer at FedEx Corporation, Rob Carter, has recently been awarded with the C.X. Prahalad Award for Global Business Sustainability Leadership. The FedEx committee recognised Carter's postion in assisting with the digital transformation of FedEx through recent technologies that will ultimately improve the company's data management and operational efficiency, bringing the company's costs down and reducing greenhouse emissions.

Alternative special honours that were awarded included the development of SenseAware and the recent use of Bloom solid oxide energy ells to source the company's Oakland, California hub. Furthermore, the LEED Certified Enterprise Data Centre located in Colorado Springs was recognised for its energy impact and for being the most efficient in the USA.

Moreover, the C.K. Prahalad Award was created to recognise the life's work of Dr. C.K. Prahalad - one of the world's most influential business developers.
