Unfortunately, you cannot send cash via courier companies such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, TNT or DPD. This includes any legal tender such as bank notes and coins.
Credit and debit cards are restricted items, and whether they are permitted depends on the courier company and the destination country.
Gift cards and gift vouchers with a face value are normally “no compensation” items, which means that you can send them but they cannot be insured against loss or damage.
Blank cheques are prohibited. You can usually send a cheque as long as it is filled out with the recipient’s name and sum to be transferred, but this may depend on the destination country. The cheque itself has no value so it cannot be insured.
When in doubt, it’s always worth checking first. At Transglobal Express, our customer service team is on hand to help you every step of the way, from getting a quote to making a booking and beyond.
