Exporting to India

Wherever you’re sending to in India, Transglobal Express can help you or your business to stay within budget by reducing the costs of international delivery.

For low cost delivery in just 3-4 days, we recommend DTDC. You can save even more by dropping off at one of our depots.

We also offer express air freight services to 15 airports across India, including Delhi, and economical sea freight services to 8 ports.

Transit times to India

Our express services to India take 2-3 days, while economy services take one or two days extra. If your parcel is collected from or delivered to a remote address, delivery may take longer.

A transit time calculator is available for each carrier – use your collection and delivery postcodes for a more accurate estimate.

Customs information for India

Customs clearance will be required for parcels sent between the UK and India. We will create your customs invoice for you, using the consignment details you provide during the booking process.

You will need to ensure that you are not sending any restricted and prohibited items, some of which will be specific to India. Please note that there are also restrictions on personal effects and they can currently only be shipped via DHL and TG Express services.

Sending from India to the UK?

Importing a parcel from India to the UK? You can use our UPS or TG Express import services—just select India as your “Sending from” address.

If you won’t be at the collection point in India, you can forward the documentation to your contact.
