General Information for Macau

Tax-free items with total value of more than MOP 5,000 are classified as commercial and a customs declaration is required prior to the shipment leaving Hong Kong for Macau. Goods without a declaration will automatically be returned.

The declaration should be provided at the point of shipping. However, it may be possible to obtain a license from Hong Kong customs. If you are using a DHL service, they can provide an import declaration service for free - just email us your declaration letter and DHL will forward it on our behalf to see if Hong Kong customs will accept.
